Self Balancing Robot not working


I’ve built the Self Balancing Robot several times using instructions No attempt has been successful. The robot attempts to balance then falls over. I have look at other forum entries where it appears people have used different instructions. Unfortunately, none of those instruction links are available.

I’m using 2 185rpm motors and have double checked the wiring and build based off the instructions above. Could someone help me out with the working instructions please? Thanks

Your building instructions look OK & you may have already read the following (but if not, it might help):

In brief, your motors must be connected to ports 1&2 on the MegaPi, the batteries must be delivering max. power and you must have freshly updated the Firmware back to ‘factory fresh’. All that being done, the model should balance!
