Whats the number of pulses generated per shaft revolution of the Optical Encoder Motor-25 9V/86RPM?

Hi all,

Included with my ‘Ultimate Robot Kit’ was an ‘Optical Encoder Motor-25 9V/86RPM’. This encoder motor -

  • has the following parameters -

Gear Ratio 1 - 75
Rated Voltage: 9V(DC)
No Load Current (A): ≤0.2
No Load Speed (RPM): 86±10%
Rated Load Torque (kgf.cm): 0.9
Rated Current (A): ≤0.55
Rated Load Speed (RPM): 64±10%
Total Weight: 112 g

Can anyone point me to a data sheet of the above or tell me how to calculate the encoder resolution (PPR - pulses per revolution)?

(I have found elsewhere that the PPR - ‘can be found by dividing the lead of the screw or pulley (distance traveled per revolution) by the linear resolution’. But I don’t have these parameters either…)

Much appreciated

Michael.
