Upload error on MegaPi

Hi

We opened Arduino through Mblock(v.1.6.5) and tried to upload Firmware_for_MegaPi onto our MegaPi board, but got this error:

avrdude: ser_open(): can’t open device “/dev/ttyUSB0”: Permission denied
ioctl(“TIOCMGET”): Inappropriate ioctl for device
ioctl(“TIOCMGET”): Inappropriate ioctl for device
avrdude: ser_send(): write error: Bad file descriptor
Problem uploading to board.

Can you explain why? Also how to resolve this problem?

Additional info:

Tried upload with both board on and off
Board option: Arduino/Genuino Mega or Mega2560
Processor option: ATmega2560(Mega 2560)
Port: Connected

Hi screwed,
This error may select wrong serial port.
On Mac, you can check the serial port under “about this mac”–“system report”–“network“ :

Also make sure you have installed correct driver. If your Mac os is below mac os sierra, here is the link to download the driver.
If it is Mac os sierra, please download and install this driver.
If it is Mac os high sierra, here is the link to downloadthe driver.
When choose Serial port, please choose port similar to /dev/tty.wchusbserial1410.

Thanks a lot. I fixed the error by starting mBlock (hence Arduino IDE) with

$ sudo /opt/makeblock/mBlock/mblock

from Terminal under Ubuntu 16.04.

Now the error(s) are

Hi scrwed,
There are many different reasons that may cause this error.
Please check serial port is correct; Select correct main board; Do not connect anything to this board; unplug other usb devices if you have. Here islink for reference.
Btw, can you upload through mblock?
