Unable to make MBOT work without connecting to laptop USB

Hello All!

I am trying to connect to the MBOT using Bluetooth but it doesnt work.

I have installed new firmware (tried both online and factory). New online firmware version that I installed is 06.01.107 but it is able to be controlled using bluetooth only when USB is connected to the laptop.

This is the same issue that was reported earlier (but no solution has been provided for it.)

HELP! Mbot ONLY moves when connected to computer via USB

Hi All! Just got my mbot. Put it all together. But it wouldn’t move - either on black line (red LEDS) or object avoidance. I am using the mbot to form the core of a machine of a little film I am making tomorrow and I cant get it to work without it being connected to my computer via USB!! I am using a MAC. Hi there：

Please make sure your makeblock app has been updated to latest version and you can only use your mobile app to control the mBot,and use makeblock bluetooth dongle to connect with mbot and upload the code ranther than OTA update your firmware,and you can use the USB cable to upload your code and update the firmware freely.
