Hi, my mac updarwd its software and now I have lost the serial driver. The port disappeared. I tried downloading and reinstalling the driver but still it does not work. The installer however says the installation was a success.
Is there another approach to use?
You might want to check this link. Often it’s a conflicting USB driver that causes this sort of thing.
Thanks, Chuckmcknight. Turns out I went to mac-usb-serial.com and downloaded their HS 13 driver. Works like a charm and no tweaking needed during installation.
