Problem: Robotic gripper, 185rpm motors run all the time when powered

When turning on power, they immediately start running moving the robot forward. No control of movements through the app; motor and controls on gripper OK. Connecting to mBlock, they stop when updating firmware or the default program, then start again once the upload is complete. Same with reset on the board: stops during reset, then start again. At a loss. Any ideas?

This may be caused by selecting self-balancing robot wrongly before. Now please connect to the Makeblock App, go to drive, select the correct mode “robotic arm”, then it will stop running.

Thank you! I reselected “manual” (it was already showing “manual”) in the dropdown menu of the app and that solved the problem.
