MegaPi Bluetooth Module connect to none mBlock controller

I am trying to create my own robot using the base kit from the Ultimate 2.0. However, I have looked everywhere for information on how to control it when connecting to the supplied Bluetooth Module (not the RJ25 module) and was wondering if there is anyway to connect the module without using the mBlock software as this does not do what I need.

I have figured out that you access the bluetooth through Serial3 but when I try to connect to the module using any other method, other than the mBlock app, it fails. Any help would be great.

Hi Happy211,
The Bluetooth module is designed for Makeblock App (mobile). With mBlock software, we use USB cable.
On different computer/device, the serial may be different, not always COM3.
