I have exactly the same issue of this guy:

Hi, I have a robot ranger. The robot works correctly with: Windows mBlock software (mBlock_win_V3.4.11), both with usb cable and with bluetooth Android app “Makeblock” via bluetooth (gamepad, build, create …) The robot does not work with Android app " mblock blockly": The bluetooth connection is done correctly, and when I start to do the tutorials (story mode), I can solve them on the app screen and each challenge appears as “win” and I get to the next challenge but the robot does NOT perfo…

The only diffence is that it worked before i updated the firmware form mblock 5 from my windows pc.

Hi there,
Could you confirm that the App icon you have is a panda? For android devices, there are two App that has same name ‘mBlock’, with ioS, they are mBlock, mBlock Blockly.
If you have the mBlock Blockly (icon is not a panda), please use mBlock 3 to reset it (not update, currently mBlock 5 only supports update), then make sure the device is running English as mBlock Blockly App may have lower version with non-English.
Any details will be appreciated.
