Makeblock Ultimate 1.0 "Failed to load firmware"

Today I tried to connect the board to another computer that has USB 2.0 - everything connected fine and the firmware was updated! It was not updated via USB 3.0.
But when connecting to the mobile application, it still says that the firmware is not defined. I tried downloading different firmware versions.

@AlexG So one issue was solved by using a USB 2.0 cable?

Known issue, I have reported it, hopefully mBlock will fix. :slight_smile:

We managed to solve the problem! My solution algorithm:

  1. I used USB 2.0 (I had to use another laptop - I don’t have USB 2.0 on mine)
  2. Used the web version of mBlock via Chrome.
  3. After connecting the board, need to switch “Mode Switch” to “Upload”
  4. It turned out to download only the factory firmware. I couldn’t download the latest firmware - I get an error.
  5. To connect via the mobile application, need to connect the Bluetooth module to port 5. If connect to another port, it will give an error.
  6. After flashing the firmware, it was possible to connect the board via USB 3.0.
