MakeBlock Bluetooth Controller issues

Good morning!
I am trying to operate the MakeBlock Ultimate 2.0 with the MakeBlock Bluetooth Controller. It seams the pairing is ok:
1- Both blue LED’s from the controller and robot flashes
2- Then, holding the pairing button in the controller it flashes rapidly, becoming both LED’s fixed after a few seconds.
However, the robot doesn’t respond to any order from the controller!
When I try with the App on my mobile device, everything works fine!
Can you help me with some suggestions to check what is the problem?
I could try several options if I had time. Unfortunately I am almost over a deadline to present a project so I need some shortcuts to get a solution faster.

Download and unzip this file,there should be an example program for Ultimate. Upload that and you should be able to drive the robot around using the controller.
