MacOS: Can connect to arduino but cannot upload

#1

Hi all,

I have this really weird problem: I can use my arduino nano (old bootloader) with the arduino ide software on MacOS, and I can connect in mblock 5, but as I try to upload in mblock 5 I get an error. If I copy and paste the code from mblock to arduino ide I can upload it without issues, so it’s not the code that is the problem.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? I’ve reinstalled the driver a couple of times but it doesn’t help. It’s probably something really stupid

Thanks!

Hi bjorntm,

It is the latest version Arduino nano board which supported by mBlock 5 software. Do you use the same arduino nano board as Alessandro?Mblock5 Arduino Nano firmware update with Linux

#4

It’s not exactly the same, but it is the “Old bootloarder” version so it probably isn’t the latest version.
Are you planning on supporting older versions?

Thanks

#5

Hi bjorntm,

Our product manager has recorded it, but I am afraid that it won’t come soon.

@bjorntm Hi Bjorn! Have you had any luck in making mBlock work with old bootloader?
