How to use add-on Robot Arm with mBot Ranger?

Hello

My son got a robot Arm (https://b2b.makeblock.com/products/robot-arm-add-on-pack-for-starter-robot-kit-blue.html) for his birthday. He already own a mBot ranger.

Are these two products compatible? And if so how do I connect the mBot Ranger with the Robot Arm in the Makeblock App? The shop were the robot arm was bought in claims the robot arm works with all of the mbots.

I’m a bit overwhelmed with all the information about Makeblock products and would appreciate some help here!
