XY Plotter v2 - Power Down Stepper Motor(s)

Hi.

Can you tell me if there is a way to power down the XY Plotter v2 stepper motor(s) via GRemote commands or by altering your source code please?

Hi @Pete,

Our engineer is on holiday these two days, I will ask him for this question when he get back ASAP. However, forgive my curiosity, why do you want to power down the stepper motor?

Thanks for getting back to me.

I want to de-energize the motors each time I finish printing, so I don’t have to listen to them buzzing when they are inactive.

I know that switching off the Me Baseboard has the same effect, but it would be nice to do it automatically via software.

Just a very minor irritation, that’s all. Nothing major :slight_smile:

Sorry for that we can’t control the power of Port1&2, since there is no control component between Port1&2 and power plug:-(
