XY plotter scale

I got my XY plotter 2.0 working but it draws really small. I am assuming that I need to set the scale. Can someone tell me how to set the scale? Also how do I home the X and Y axis. In the homing screen the home xy does not send the axis home. Finally is there a detailed instructions on how to operate this plotter? I found the software manual but it is very limited.

Added: well I found the solution to the scale problem. The dip switch settings
on the stepper motor controller board need to be set. Ya know you guys could have mentioned that somewhere in the crappy instructions you provide. I spent all day chasing the problem.

And, you could also change the proportion setting in GRemote,

Can you tell me the dip switch settings for a scale of 1:1? And what does proportion settings do?
