I can not get my xy plotter to home all the limit switches in my draw are showing state change of 0 or 1 depending on if it is activated manually. when I try to autohome the carriage move across the x axis and just keeps running itself into the frame. when I open the xy setup pop up it does not show any status change on the limit switches. What do I need to do to correct this?
I am using a mac with a “signed” ch341 driver and I believe it is version 1.07 2015-5-23 of mdraw
It is now seeing home position and stopping on the switches. No idea why it started working now.
Limits only work going home. When you load a drawing make sure top right is available by clicking top right to make sure. I usually like 50% of the way to make sure I don’t grind the belts - that is a drag (pun intended).
What’s the point of having the far limit switches if they don’t work? Has any Mac user got them all working?
all of my switches work i had to make sure to have the latest version of the software though, I am running el capitan and paid for the signed driver
