XY plotter is not working - Motor is not stopping - No control with mDraw

Hi,

my XY plotter robot is not working well …

I checked the wire connections for the XY plotter refering to the following pictures and the instructions :

Mine :

• When I switch the XY plotter on, one of the motor (X axis on the video) is running without stopping …

If I connect my PC (windows 10 or 7) with µUSB to the table :

• I use mDraw
  1 : Choose XY
  2 : Updatefirmware
  3 : Open port

But it is not working, the motor stops some seconds (when update firmware, open port) but continues after that.

• I installed the drivers on the PC.

• I tried to flash the firmware with " xybot.ino " but I was unable to do it.
  

  

• None of the limit switch is able to stop the motor even if I try to push them with my finger.

• I tried to change stepper driver

• They are in HHH position

I am unable to control the table.

Today, I upgraded the firmware using mblock : https://makeblockshop.eu/blogs/known-issues/88952772-first-check-your-firmware-version

I used : orion_firmware.ino

But the problem is still there : no controll, and motor is not stopping.

Hi Jef,

The upgrade firmware using mBlock won’t work with the XY Plotter.
You can only connect the XY Plotter robot to the mDraw software, then upgrade firmware for it on mDraw software.

For the issue that it doesn’t function normal after upgrade firmware, I wonder if the port COM6 is the correct serial port for the XY plotter.
Please connect the XY plotter to the Computer and take a screenshot for the ports under computer’s Device Manager->Ports (COM&LPT).
