XP Plotter - handwriting

I’m wondering can the plotter copy handwriting? Just to copy a few letters of mine to mass produce so it looks handwritten and not copied?
If so can I just scan the letter then change the format?

Hi Keira 1511,

Maybe you can sent the .svg file to us (tec-support@makeblock.com ) and we will check if the XY Plotter can draw it.
While if the font shape and thickness of the character line for the letters are not clear or the .svg file is small, the result won’t be accepted when using the XY Plotter

By what your saying I doubt it’ll be able to copy signatures then?

Hi Keira1511,

It can draw the image which show on the .svg file. So as long as the .svg contains the signatures, then it will be ok.

Most files I have are jpeg, are these easy enough to convert into .svg?

Do you have suppliers in the UK?

Sorry that I may miss the post before.
You can use the inkscape to transfer the jpeg file to .svg file with inkscape or the one suggested by glutenfree.

Thank you, I wish you wrote sooner as I just received it from China and got charged £63 customs fee :sob:

Hopefully get it built this weekend and see how I get on with it.
