Should it work with 4 1.2V rechargeable batteries instead of 4 1.5V normal batteries?
Will mBot work with 1.2 v batteries?

It should, but not as well (reduced speed etc.). It won’t ruin the board, but it will not run as long or as fast. @eriera1
