Why my mBot cant connect with bluetooth?

Q: Why my mBot cant connect with bluetooth?

A: The factory setting is for Remote controller, if you want to control by your mobile, you have to upgrade the firmware using mBlock firstly, here is the linkage: http://mblock.cc/download/

I bought an 2.4 G mBot, which works fine. I bought a Makeblock Bluetooth Module for mbot (13035).
This module keeps blinking blue, but the connect option for bluetooth in the mBlock-program is greyed out.
I have upgraded the firmware, but that doesn’t help.

@albertep, thanks for your feedback. Please firstly try the newest mBlock: ***http://mblock.cc/***, and upgrade the firmware again and check if it can be connected. If still the problem, kindly send email to: support@makeblock.cc

Hi, We just got a new mbot. We have upgraded the firmware after a few challenges. We are using Mac OS El Capitan.
Now we are trying to activate the bluetooth. In system preferences we do see makeblock in the bluetooth detected devices but we cannot connect to it. In mblock, under the connect menu, the bluetooth option is greyed out. The module keeps blinking blue.
Not sure what to do. Any help would be welcome.

I found the answer to my own question in another post and it worked!

Bluetooth does not work at all.

With my Macbook Air, the Macbook sees the mBot Bluetooth, but will not pair.

Using the Ipad App, the I pad sees the mBot, says the bluetooth is connected( blue light on bluetooth stops blinking) but then will not download to the mBot.
