Which app do we use to control mbot?

#2

Talking about smartphones

#3

There’s a makeblock app in the (Apple iOS) App Store. I can’t speak for Google Play for Android but I bet there is one there too.

#4

I’m android

#5

And that one doesn’t work

Hello

mBot App for Android version will be released on tomorrow, you can try it later!

Thanks!

There is a mBot App for iOS 7.1 and above.

My problem currently is, that I can’t make the mBot be visible in my iPhone 4, and the App keeps searching for a mBot but doesn’t find any.

I can connect from my Mac (Yosemite) and even program over bluetooth though.
But the phone… Nope!

Any ideas from the rest of the community?

The mbot app for android hasn’t been released yet

#9

This app works ok for bluetooth control.

#10

That’s not the right one. If you look at the apple app store they have that app and a specific one for mbot

#11

Just use that one for now :stuck_out_tongue: Anything that works is better than nothing right?

#12

That one doesn’t work

#13

What do you mean by it doesn’t work? Please provide more details for others to help you with.

#14

When I connect I’m not able to move the robot or do anything with it

mBot is Blutooth 4.0 - iphone 4 is 2.1 (see https://support.apple.com/kb/SP587?locale=en_CA )

Thats my best guess.
