Where are the 3D model files for mBot 2?

#1

Where I can find mbot2 3D Cad? It seems unfindable.

@IamTheVector Can you clarify what you mean exactly?

A 3D CAD (Computer-Aided Design) model is a digital representation of a physical object or system, designed using CAD software. These models are used across various industries like engineering, architecture, and manufacturing to conceptualize, design, and simulate products before they are built. In terms of Makeblock, the company shared the 3D of many robots in Grabcad but not the platform mbot2. Here you can find some examples.

@IamTheVector I know what CAD is. I’m a 3D designer. As for the files, I don’t think mBot 2’s are public. You could ask mBlock using the support email:
support@makeblock.com
Let me know if you need anything else.

You asked to clarify, I did.

@IamTheVector You did. I didn’t mean any offense at all. I can’t find the files anywhere either, so I guess the best thing to do is contact makeblock official.

Good luck!

I managed to locate a partially finished model of the mbot2 on Oneshape. However, please note that it contains several significant flaws and design inaccuracies from its prior creator. I have solved the most critical issues, such as the positioning of holes and the clearance from the ground. Enjoy.
