I have just received a makeblock starter kit.
I built the robot following the instruction and played with it for a bit… driving it round.
Then, I added the extension for the starter robot kit. I plugged it in and tightened the orange entrance where the cables for the wheels go in.
Then, Iturned the robot back on. Nothing was working for a bit. Then, I realised the switch button wasn’t on, so I turned it on.
The lights come up. The remote control sends the signal to make the wheels turn but nothing happens.
I have tried to plug and unplug all the cables… Could it be because I have thigthened them too much?
I have an IR Kit and the switch is on.
I have not used the programme yet.
Concerning the remote, when I pressed the forward button it turned left, when I pressed the right button, it went forward, when I pressed the back button it went right and when I pressed the left button it went backwards.
Who can help me? I really like this robot. I have planned to do a presentation about it at school and it is frustrating because I am stuck.

Check the order of wires in the orange plugs for the motors.
The wires should be reversed for one motor, so the order will be:
black-white-white-black or white-black-black white
BUT NOT
black-white-black-white
Also use speed button 5 or higher as the lower speeds do not send enough current to the motors to drive the tank.
