Using the Mbot Bluetooth Module with other projects

Hi, I’ve had a Mbot sitting around the house for a while now. Recently, I’ve taken it apart for use in personal robotics projects. I’m attempting to use the Bluetooth Module for data transmission to the robot, however, I am unable to connect to it via Bluetooth. When connecting, the light turns to a steady blue, however, my phone states “cannot connect”. (I’m using an app to connect and send data to the Bluetooth module). Is there some sort of protocol on the module blocking me from using it without the Mbot MCU?

The reason for why Bluetooth module can connect with our phone and MakeBlock app is our Bluetooth module has our own bluetooth agreements,if you cannot connect with your phone with another app means your device and APP cannot compatible with our agreements.
