USB Connection on Lasebox-Pro

Does the software and laserbox-pro need an active internet connection to create a connection between software and the laserbox?

I am working in a school environment on a Windows 10 laptop and can not get a connection established. It works inconsistently if I connect my laptop to my mobile hotspot but without an internet connection the connection wont establish. This is not suitable for my environment as we will be using a device completely disconnected from the internet. What are my options?

it only works on usb2 not 3(blue)

Hello Hrkow0, the connection of Laserbox to computer has no requirement for network. For your case, please record a video to show “it works inconsistently” and send to support@makeblock.com . We will help you via email to fix the problem.
