Uploading program to mBot board fails. Incorrect syntaxis of filename, foldername of volume name

Hi there,

I’ve just bought the mBot for my daugher and setting it up worked fine up until the point when we tried to upload a program to mBot through bluetooth. This unfortuntaly fails…
Controling the mBot from my computer via bluetooth directly (without downloading the program) works fine.

This is the error message after selecting “upload to Arduino” from mBlock (in scratch). Sorry about the dutch… :slight_smile:

“avrdude: ser_open(): can’t open device “00:0D:19:12:6F:10”: De syntaxis van de bestandsnaam, mapnaam of volumenaam is onjuist.
avrdude done. Thank you.

My board setting is set to mBot, I’m connected through bluetooth and my extention is set to makeblock.

Please help us so we can continue enjoying mBot experience…!

You cannot upload programs via the Bluetooth module as it does not have access to the onboard avrdude programmer.Programs are uploaded to mBot via the provided USB cable. :slight_smile:
