UltrasonicSensor not working on IR Version Starter Robot Kit

Hi,

I got my Starter Robot kit a couple of days ago. Unfortunately it only came with only 1 RJ25 cable. So I ordered 6P6C RJ25 cable 25cm. When I got all the parts I hooked everything up together and everything seems to be working except the Ultrasonic sensor. I was able to drive the robot around with the IR remote. Even in the grass outside! Really nice. But when I switch to I load the ultrasonic car or Dual mode and hit A. It bumps into the first thing right in front of it. The led is emitted on the Ultrasonic sensor v3 but nobody home. Also I tried the TestUltrasonicSensor and uploaded this to the robot. Looked at the terminal but no luck. Please help.

Hi @henko,

I’m sorry for the problem. Could take a picture of the tank and I could check the cable connection at first. If it does have something wrong with the Ul, I will send a new one to exchange that.

Hi Johnny,

I’ve wired the robot as per wiring diagram. Attached you can find the picture. #3 to the Ultrasonic sensor and #6 to the Infrared led rj25 plug.As you can see I unscrew the battery pack for the picture and lay that aside for a moment to take the picture. I tried all cables I have but no luck. Please help.
