Ultrasonic Sensor 2 always returning 300 part 2

Another thread exists about this, but I can no longer reply because it’s been closed.

The ultrasonic sensor 2 always returns 300, but the sample avoidance program in the firmware works fine.

This is turning into an expensive paper weight pretty fast, why is the quality control so horrible?

Perhaps if you shared a little more information about your setup, your code, your wiring, etc then someone could help. If the sample avoidance program works, then that would suggest the sensor is working, but whatever code you are using to interrogate the sensor may be at fault.
