Does Ultimate and Ranger work on 2.4G module?

The Makeblock Ranger uses the MeAUriga board, which does have the same communication-board spot as the mBot. The 2.4Ghz and Bluetooth modules will work with the Ranger.

The Ultimate Robot Kit ships with the MegaPi, and Arduino-powered board that also connects to the GIPO pins on a Raspberry Pi. The MegaPi has some similar looking pin areas, but those are designed for the motor-control boards, not serial communication.

In theory, any Arduino can use the 2.4G Serial module, via the Arduino’s Serial RX/TX ports. But the MegaPi, as far as I know, doesn’t have a socket or software that supports it directly. I also don’t think there’s a version of the Makeblock firmata designed for the MegaPi. Again, you could use standard Arduino firmata, but then you’re turning your back on all the Makeblock-designed features on the board.
