Timer Command Confusion

Do you need the makeblock timer board connected to the MegaPI to use the timer command? Or is it calculated automatically by the MegaPI Board?

The timer board is just for displaying function,once you give the program command to MegaPI board,MegaPI board will calculate it automatically.
