Holy crap is build diagrams terrible, I’m really amazed at how poor they are. My machine ends up grinding against one edge or another and I can’t figure out why/how to get it to stop.
The limit switches, black/white wires, does it matter?
There is also various instructions on which port to use 6,8,3 it seems to depend. Most perplexed on this.
I think I’ve figured it out. But it might not be the same for you. I’m using a mac, and the mDraw version they have in their zip file that also contains the manuals etc. contains an old mDraw version. As far as I know this old version doesn’t use the limit switches. When I tried the new software it seemed to work by clicking the home button. Also in the settings panel you can see if the switches work. If you press them manually the number changes from 1 to 0.
I hope this works for you too, good luck!
I’ve gotten the home switches to work, which is the most important, but the right X and top Y still don’t seem to register. They do turn from 1’s to 0’s when tested. I’m running mDraw from OS X Yosemite. Does anyone have ideas on what I might be doing wrong. Thanks.
