Temperature Sensor

Hi dear Mbot users

Can anyone explain shortly what temperature sensor work for and can i let mbot detect the lighter with that sensor?

For the ligher part,I would go with the Me Gas Sensor module as it’ll be able to sense the ligher better than the temperature sensor.

I actually dont know a lot about that sensor. How does it work and how should i use it?

I see, but the candle will be positioned on the other side of the maze. Its 4m^2 maze. Do you think the bot can detect the candle and find it directly from the other side of the maze?

Depends … are the walls higher than the candle -> no
Is the ambient light bright -> no

I use the temperature sensor frequently with my different classes ( the probe Me temperature sensor with a scope of T° from -55°C to 125 °C.

You can-for instance- make the robot go with the rise of T°… ( touching the probe, the T° will rise smoothly to the T° of the human body)
