We bought the mBot Talkative Pet Addon for my daughter for her birthday. That’s just basically an analog servo, a MeAudio Player card/speaker, and some case parts.
There is no specific extension for the pack so we downloaded the servo extension, and Audio Player extension. The servo works in both live and upload mode (on PC and Android), but the audio card only works in upload mode. Searching the forums reveals that is just the current state of that extension.
Are there any plans to add live mode capabilities to the audio player extension and to add it to the mobile app?
It would be really nice to be able to use live mode for tinkering with audio programs instead of having to upload to test every little change. Also, some of her project ideas, like a “Mad Libs” program, would be much much easier if we had access to list variables, that of course are only available in live mode.
