Hi, I’ve currently got an Mbot which is being used in a theatre show to pull an object around the stage. Unfortunately it’s not quite powerful enough to do the job (almost but not quite). Is there a replacement motor or adaptation that I could do on the existing Mbot to make it a little stronger? OR could you recommend a motor-wheel assembly that might work? thanks.
Stronger motors for Mbot

That’s a great use for an mBot, cool!
You can really use any arduino-compatible motor. I don’t believe Makeblock sells any ‘stronger’ motors directly.
But really, as long as you get something that has the right ports, you can use nearly anything.

to get more voltage you have to use an external power supply for the motor. You can also get an orion board which will drive bigger motors.
yes, but I need to try and fit the motor into the MBot chassis - any idea who supplies the current ones (small motor with right angled gears in yellow compartment)? perhaps they have a similar model but stronger?
also re the voltage - the motor is 6v yes? I’m guessing 9v would make it burn out
