Starter kit V2.0 has stopped working right

Have had the starter kit V2.0 for two weeks and it ran OK, now it will only run at lower speeds, buttons 1 to 5 work but 5 to 9 just give a flash of power. I have checked that the IR controller is OK, the ME base is outputting 6v on button “9” as it should, both motors run OK 0.2A each at 9v. Have re-loaded the program also.

I think the battery is low power now. You need to replace it.
