[Solved] Pen up / down not working on Windows (—> damaged servo)

When using mDraw 1.1 with the Orion board on macOS everything is working fine. But when I want to draw things using mDraw 1.1 on Windows 10 the z-axis servo (pen up / down) is not working. When I hit the Pen Up / Pen Down buttons the servo makes some sound, so it seems like some information is transmitted. Any idea what’s wrong? The pen is not moving at all. The serial connection is fine, I can print stuff, just the pen movement is not working.

It stopped working on macOS as well. Tried another servo – fixed it.

Seems like the pressure of the rubber band destroyed the old one.

how to see if the servo motor is damaged?

The spinning end felt loose and I could turn it very easily.
A better way to verify is probably connecting it to an Arduino and running the servo example code.
