Software to use to create beautiful pdf assembly instruction

#1

hello,

One of the reason why makeblock is so great is because i find the assembly instruction so easy to understand and follow
The diagrams works great.

I have created a funny machine i want to communicate to friends so that they can build it too. But sending photos does not work.

What kind of software was used by you guys to create such illustrations ?

thanks
fourchette

i found this on another thread,
it seems the 3D models of parts can be downloaded from there => https://grabcad.com/makeblock-1/projects/public?sort=recently-added

i have not created an account on gradcad.com but i’m guessing, the assembly descriptions are to be made with freecad or the like then make releveant screenshot to copy/paste in a word or slide document ?

[edit] ok it’s explained on the wiki main page… :expressionless: =>

I agree with your fourchette. The diagramming work in the manuals was super professional and clear. I suggested that they release some of the material to users so we could make our own instructions, in @shaiss 's thread about improving the makeblock experience.
