Remote can't be programmed

In have tried different mBots with both the shipped firmware and the upgraded firmware. Using mBlock the IR can not be programmed. I do what is said in documentation and nothing happens. The default remote settings work but after the firmware upgrade not even these work.

after a firmware upgrade you must reload the Default Program for it to work properly

Hi thanks for that, it appeared to work i.e. the remote is working again.

I replied too soon. The default remote programme works but there is no way to reprogramme the remote. Well there is a way but when I upload the script it does not work.

re-read this other thread completely since it explains the issues you are probably running into. If you can load up my program via USB and it operates untethered then all should be good for you to experiment with it.
