Ranger always drives forward after drop - troubleshooting tips

Hi there,

My nephew’s mBot Ranger drove off a ledge and took a hard fall. After this whenever we turn it on, the motor drives forward and doesn’t stop until it’s turned off. We’ve tried resetting back to the factory firmware, but it doesn’t fix this problem. Do you have any suggested tips for troubleshooting or fixing issues like this?

Hi Brian,
It may change the mode by mistake.
Please try to turn it on (you can unplug motor cable), connect Bluetooth in Makeblock App, and change the mode to other mode instead of nervous bird mode.
Or you can change mode in mBlock 3 software:
