Questions about the "marquee" feature of laserbox

Hi.
I think that laserbox has a function called “marquee” that extracts patterns drawn on the material in laserbox. Can the pattern extracted by that function be engraved only? Or can you cut it?

Here is a introduction about intelligent image extraction, please have a look.

Actually the intelligent image extraction only support engrave.
If you want to cut, you can outline the image which you have extracted.
In the latest laserbox software, the position of the “Outline” button is moved from the left toolbar on the design interface to the left toolbar on the working interface.

So, will you be able to cut the extracted patterns in the future?
