Question about switching between Arduino and Makeblock App

So I have not attempted to switch over and start playing with the Arduino IDE yet, I wanted to double check that if I do switch over that all I have to do is load the Makeblock firmware again to start using the Makeblock app again?

Yeah, of course. Actually, the ‘firmware’ is just an Arduino program.

Also another question… Can you actually use the Bluetooth shield instead of the usb cable? I have started messing around with it and I see what you mean about just loading the program back.
