Python editor mblock5

I am using the mblock5 python editor with my students but instead of coding directly with python, they just code with blocks and copy the generated code… Is there any friendly Ide I can use so that they can be coding only using python (without using the blocks first?). I tried Pycharm but I am looking for something easy to use for 14 years old students. Any suggestion will be helpful. Thanks

Hello,
The python editor that comes with mblock5 is what I am actually using… The problem is that I don’t want to have the code generated by mblock5… I want to encourage students to work with text coding…

You could only let them use the python editor…
