I think you are out of luck. You need to plug that module into a red port that the mBot mCore board does not have. The Orion board supports that module: http://learn.makeblock.cc/orion/ You can plug the gripper into one of the DC motor controllers on the board but then you could not drive one of the wheels. Your best bet is to use a servo gripper. You’ll have to make due with a 3rd party rig but you can get started with the mBot servo kit until a servo gripper kit is offered: http://www.makeblock.cc/mbot-servo-pack/ Good luck!
hmm thank you for your help Mr Trapsis, why we cant work :S there are two empty port why cant use them :S yes i knew yesterday this your information
but even so i try to work with mbot if i cant work my this project and then i ll buy orion baseboard
Before you purchase the new baseboard, you may want to consider servo options which will work great with the mCore board. Here is a gripper I made using a laser cutter:
If you don’t have one, you can purchase micro-servo grippers from Sparkfun real cheap: https://www.sparkfun.com/search/results?term=grippers You can buy the servos from them as well. They all plug into the Makeblock Me-RJ25 module and can be programmed with mBlock or Arduino sketch.
There is a workaround that you can do it you are comfortable with a soldering iron.
you can attach separate power to the dual motor DC driver then you can plug into one of the other port types on the mBot. The Red port type supplies DC power for motors but the other control channels are also needed to set the speed which can come from blue ports.
see this wiki link for details of which port has what.
