I tried to use this Encoder Motor Tuning tool, but it does not seem to work.

I have connected the usb-to-serial device with 5v,gnd,rx,tx,dtr to the Me High-Power Encoder Driver board. This has worked before to upload new firmware to it, so the cables are correct. But in the tool, after having selected the right comport and pressing the button so it shows “connected”, none of the other buttons seem to work. When I press get nothing happens, if I write in a speed and press run nothing happens. I have also tried this on another board where we did not change the firmware.
I’ve also tried to run it with admin rights, no difference. I’m using windows 10. Any help?
