OSX mBlock 3.4.11 Edit with Arduino IDE does nothing

I am trying to diagnose connectivity issues with my starter kit, and found help that states I should connect via Ardunio IDE, but no IDE opens for me!
Using mBlock v3.4.11 on OSX 10.14, when I press “Edit with Arduino IDE”, the Arduino IDE splash screen shows, and then goes after a few seconds.

Weird, I just ran it on Mojave and the Arduino IDE popped right up. You might want to try reinstalling mBlock.

Many thanks for the suggestion, it worked a treat, its all working now.

I also removed mLink, and never reinstalled that, so I wonder if that was getting the in the way.
