ORION Starter Robot get started Help. Running MAC

I got a couple IR Starter Robot kits from a grant but we cannot get them connected for the life of me or my students. We are running the software on a MAC. When we connect the bot to the computer we do not see Com 3 or 4. We can’t even upload the firmware. Is there a mac instructions to get started? I only see PC.

Also would it be better to buy the bluetooth module so we can just run it from the iPads? Is it even possible to run the starter robot kits from the iPads?

On Mac PC, the serial port doesn’t show as COM port.
Please install the driver for Mac PC. Here is the download link for the Driver.
When choose Serial port under Connect->Serial Port, please choose the port similar to /dev/tty.wchusbserial1410.
