One question about the Me-joystick return value - SOLVE

Hi

in the technical page of the wiki page for the Me-joystick you explain that the return values of the Me-joystick are -255 to 255.

But if I connect a 7 segment module to read the value, for me it’s a value from 981 to 0 with a center point at 495 on the Y axis and 478 on the X axis… It’s normal ?

Can I modify this value or how can I use it for control a motor who need a value between -255 and 255 ?

Ok in another post I’ve got the response… So this post is useless… How can I cancel it ?

FWIW, it’s a value between 0 and about a thousand, centered in the high 400s.
