No Usb Connection on Windows 10 - No Serial Port

Hello Everyone,

In my recent purchase of Mbot, I was pleased the way it worked with Makeblock Android app and connected via bluetooth without any hassles. Although I installed Mblock software on a PC running Windows 10 Home Edition, when I try connecting via USB cable there is no serial ports to select from. In the connect tab of mblock software, the serial port section says no serial port, I tried every combination, I connect mbot first after run mblock software same problem, I open software and turn on mbot again same problem, I even uninstalled mblock software and installed again, still the same issue. I will also put a screenshot the way i see serial port section. I will be very happy if someone can light my way.

Hi Canberkoz,

Pease install the Arduino driver from mBlock software have a try.

Please check if there is COM port available after installed the driver? (Please note, the Power Switch on mBot must be pulled to ON side).
If there is still no correct COM port for mBot on mBlock software, please kindly check if there is COM port for mBot under PC’s Device management-> Port. Kindly take a picture for the ports under Device management-> Port.

Cannot see COM port from mBlock 5 post firmware & mBlock update

Hi! Maybe you can use the Virtual COM port driver (https://www.eltima.com/products/vspdxp/) or USB to Serial Converter -https://www.eltima.com/products/usb-to-serial-converter/ ?
