No conection between makerblock orion and PC

Hello,

hope sombody can help me. I have a Makerblock Orion board and I can´t connect it with the Arduino software. When I try to upload the bootloader with the ardoino software comes the error:

avrdude: usbdev_open(): did not find any USB device “usb”

And when I try to upload a program:

avrdude: verification error, first mismatch at byte 0x0000
0x0c != 0x62
avrdude: verification error; content mismatch

Hardware / Software

Makerblock Orion
Arduino Version: 1.0.6
Makeblock Driver Installer: installed

Windows 10 64 Bit

Hi Bjoern,

Have you installed the Arduino driver, if not, please download the driver (for windows) in this link and install it:
http://learn.makeblock.com/learning-arduino-programming/

After you installed the arduino driver, on the Arduino software, make sure you choose the correct Board (Arduino UNO) and correct Serial Port under Tools option.

I have installed the Arduino driver again but i dosen’t work. Same problem

I checked the device manager but I thing it works correct

Before I upload a code I have chose the Arduino Uno board and the correct port

Hi Bjoern,

Please uninstall the Arduino 1.0.6 and download the latest Arduino software in this link: https://www.arduino.cc/download_handler.php?f=/arduino-1.6.8-windows.exe

After installed the latest Arduino, please download the latest makeblock libraries ,and replace the old one .

Note: sometimes the Arduino driver will be uninstalled either when you uninstall the Arduino 1.0.6, so you may need reinstall the Driver.

Did that fix the problem? I’m having the same issue, the driver is installed, but the COM is not listed in mBlock (but bunch of other COMs are)

Hi Crt_Erzen,

From your describe, your issue looks different. Can you see the COM port under the computer’s device manager?
Btw, your PC is windows or Mac?

Hi Matthew,

thanks for help. I connect the me orian board to a Uno board and I try to upload the Arduino ISP. When the upload is ongoing the blue LED flashs one time shortly. When I want to upload the starter Firmware the same error code is reported.

Do you have any other ideas?

Hi Bjoern,

It sounds like the re-burning of the bootloader might not have worked. Have you tried it just once?
