A big wave of new products are coming! First, we will push out our new main board in the next month. Let’s take a peek of it in advance.

Description:

Me-BaseBoard integrated Arduino LEONARDO and Me-BaseShield. It provides 8 RJ11 ports, which could connect all Me-series modules.

The Makeblock Me series modules is designed to be simple to wire, easy to program, the controller is compatible with Arduino, each Me-modules comes with a Arduino library for easy programming.

Features:

  • Integrated Arduino LEONARDO and Me-BaseShield
  • Microcontroller: ATmega32U4
  • LV8406T for motor drivers
  • Allow high current (3A) and over-current protection (PPTC)
  • Intuitive connection by labeling tags with different color and number
    for each connector
  • Two channels for motor driver integrated ( Two channels additional with Me - motor driver through PORT_1&2)
  • Standard interval between mounting holes (easy to fix on the Makeblock beam or plate with double -screw bolt)
  • 6-12V DC power supply
  • Comes with Arduino library for easy programing
  • Easy wiring with 6 Pin RJ11 interface

Great News !!!

I just broke my power connector of the me base shield, my robot turns back and fall over the connector now has an intermitent contact,

I will try to resolder it, but would be awesome if u provide for version 1.1 a two pin screw to connect the power or other alternative method to use only wires and no conectors, that will reduce the size and give some rudundancy

Thanks !!!

I got your suggestion~~We have updated our connector on Baseboard ( Mini USB). It’s much smaller than the old version. [quote=“Markuitos, post:2, topic:377”]

Johnny

I got the problem in the power connector, it gets intermitent like some notebooks when the powerjacket get wrong.

Now I will try to resolder it on weekend, but an option to direct connect the cables with no jack will be ideal, I use two lithium bateries 18650 and I can direct connect them to some screew holes or something like

Cheers

I’m sorry for misunderstand your problem before… I have transfer that to our engineer.

However, before we update our power connector, I think you could try to remove the jack and connect the cables to the board directly. I’m not sure it would help. So I think if it’s not work after your resoldering, you could try this way.

Thanks
