New myTiny doesn't reproduce sounds

My children received the mTiny for Christmas and works like a charm, except it doesn’t emit any sound.
It can be successfully programmed and reacts to different tiles with the eyes but doesn’t sound.

Hello Jeska, will the mTiny making any sound from the beginning? Please switch the rotary knob to the maximum and try again

It has never done any sound. We have tried the rotary knob to the maximun and back and nothing.
